Joe empowers leaders, teams and organisations around the world with the tools and strategies to navigate some of their most difficult challenges, turning them into successes.
His leadership journey started in 2003 where he was given the opportunity to oversight a small operations team for a small company in the freight forwarding industry. From there, he helped the company grow and scale their systems and structures travelling and working with teams across New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the USA. Following that, he took on new roles with other companies leading operational teams, customer service teams, and working with Branch Managers to increase sales and ensure strong relationship management with their customer base.
In 2016, Joe took on a leadership role in the Health & Dental Industry over-sighting teams across 4 different locations across Auckland and the Waikato Regions. This new role would pose new challenges managing staff across in a completely new industry, and it was during this transition of "sink or swim" "learn as you go", that while this would be difficult to navigate, this was going to be an incredible season and opportunity of personal growth & leadership development. As Joe embraced the opportunity, he was able to learn how to intrinsically motivate his staff, implement strong systems & structures that would facilitate growth & scale, and as a result the portfolio increased it's revenues by 41% (over $5Mp/a) within 3 years.
As a result of the increase in performance, profits, impact & success stories, Joe began getting invited to speak, coach & train at conferences across New Zealand, Australia and the USA. As a result of being involved in the conferences, his reach expanded to coaching leaders in Asia and Europe.
During the incredible season of growth, in 2018, Joe experienced a difficult and lengthy challenge in his leadership journey that caused never before felt anxiety. This was an incredibly testing point of resilience and it was difficult to see "the opportunity in the difficulty". However, as he leaned into the situation and chose to overcome and learn through the ordeal, he learned to dig deep and invested in himself, discovering the tools and strategies that now empower other leaders and teams around the world to win in their entrepreneurial, business and leadership journeys!
As a result of stepping into difficult situations, levelling up and investing in himself, Joe has had the privilege to take the difficulties and learnings from those experiences; speaking, training & coaching with leaders and teams, impacting & empowering them to WIN!
